As I was pondering about our family on this first day of the new year, I came to the realization that of my ten grandchildren, half of them are now teenagers. Two of them will graduatate high school in the spring. Three of them are, or soon will be, driving a car. That is just mindboggling to me, where did our babies and toddlers go? As I was looking for KK's baby pictures, I can remember so clearly her and Tom in the tub and how sweet she looked in her little pink hat and jacket. We were at Woodland Park that day. My kids childhoods just flew by, and now look at all of you! We need to slow down and treasure these days before the grandchildren are grown too. Another thing I realized is, your birth months are, 612216, I thought that was kind of weird!!

Very true Myrna, Tandi has been house sitting for the last week and while she has been gone all week, I realized that she is almost going to not be living here anymore! It seems so odd how fast the years have gone with my two kids. It seems that each year for me goes by faster than the last, we are not here on this earth for very long. You are right we (I) need to learn to not sweat the small stuff and enjoy each day. I enjoyed your thoughts. Happy New Year, I think that 2010 is going to be a good one!! Love, Shelley
