I got to meet and talk with Hilary Weeks! (she is the one in the middle in all black) She is a songwriter/singer and she was amazing. I bought her CD and yes she signed it. Yeah!!
Also got to meet 2 other speakers who made me cry and inspired me in many ways!
I went with some girlfriends to "Time Out" for Women in Seattle this weekend. I had the best time and I was grateful that they made me go. (Yes I did try to get out of it because I was feeling guilty that I was leaving the boys for 1 night with games on Saturday.) I really needed this weekend to happen!! With me working now and not having the house clean or dinner ready on time, Will not working going on 9 weeks and the boys busy schedule...... I have been feeling so stressed out and just feeling down. I have to admit that I can only think of 1 other time that I left the boys for the weekend and now I know that they will be ok with out me. This weekend was very spiritual for me and I just needed to be reminded that things happen for a reason, that I am blessed to have my family, a home to live in and we have food on our plates everyday. (which I need to cut back on the food. Gain some weight.... when I'm stressed..... I eat none stop!) OK so I'm going on and on about this.... I guess what I'm trying to say is that I can't wait to go again next year. Does anyone want to go with me??????

Kristi, I am so glad you had a great time! It is so fun to be with friends once in awhile and just take a little break! I would love to go to a "Time out" with you sometime, sounds fun. We all need to get away from everyday life and realize how fortunate we all are. There are bumps along the way, but that is life. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.I am so glad you got away for the weekend. Looks like you hade a great time!!
